Yajaira Cruz – Front Office Manager

I am an integral part of Pomona Valley Podiatry Group as the Front Office Manager. I oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice from the call center, patient scheduling, customer service, physician credentialing, and surgery scheduling at the local hospitals. I have been with the practice since 2010. I started as an Assistant Billing Clerk and advanced into the position I currently hold. My vast knowledge of customer service, patient care, and telephone skills have been a major contributor to the success of our office and the care of our patients.

In my spare time, I continue to work on my education goals at Chaffey College, manage my daughter’s cheerleading team, and try various food recipes.

Maria Torres – Back Office Manager

I have worked at Pomona Valley Podiatry Group for 10 years. I started as a Certified Massage Therapist for the office. Because of my skills working with patients, I transitioned into a full-time patient care medical assistant. I am now the manager of the back office. I oversee patient care from the time patients are brought into the treatment rooms throughout their visit to our office. I am also responsible for maintaining the medical supplies in the office and the Therapeutic Diabetic Shoe program. I assist patients in finding shoes that are not only recommended by our doctor for good support but are also on-trend.

I make sure that the shoes provide the most comfort and are also are cute.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the movies.

Rosa Diaz – Billing Manager

I have been working at Pomona Valley Podiatry Group for three years. I am responsible for revenue cycle management and the daily operations of the billing department. Under my direction, the billing department is responsible for communication with insurance companies and patients regarding coverage and payment for podiatric services.

In my spare time, I am continuing my education at Brigham Young University in Idaho through their Pathways program.

I also love to spend time with my family and my dog, Bow Wow.
